Most internet station will not air your music simply because it is not properly tagged. It takes a lot of time and resources to research and fill in the information embedded in audio tracks.
You will find that a majority of radio stations give priority to bands that take the time to have this done. ZTR.FM is one of them. We want to present you and your band in the most professional manner possible. It reflects the quailty of your band and us.
Metadata is often an overlooked part of recording music. And, if you're new to digital music, you might not even know about it. If this is the case, then metadata is simply information that is stored inside most (if not all) audio files. There's a special non-audio area inside each of your song files that contains a set of tags which are used to identify a song in different ways. This includes using attributes to identify: the title of the song; artist/band; album that the song is associated with; genre, year of release, etc.
Having metadata added to your tracks is very important in the presentation of your work. It gives you a professional appearance and it allows your music to be cataloged with the music industry standards.
Metadata provides a means for a listener to get information about your track displayed on a music player.
We only provide a service to add metadata to your original works that belong to you or your band.
We do not provide a service for copyrighted mainstream music.
ZTR.FM Only supports local music from around the world, no mainstream.
